How it Works
Thin layers of a gypsum based powder are spread evenly over a build chamber. Then arrays of print heads are used to selectively jet the selected color binding solution to the required areas of each layer. Another layer of powder is spread and the process is repeated. The part is then de-powdered and a strengthening infiltrate is applied. After approximately one hour of additional drying time the finished part is complete.
What Materials Does it Use?
Our Color Jet Printing machine uses Visijet PXL, a proprietary material developed by 3D Systems. It is eco-friendly and non-hazardous.
